To be eligible to apply for the GTI program as part of the talent track, it is necessary to meet some of the following threshold requirements.
Advantage to holders of a PhD and Master with research.
International recognition with evidence of outstanding achievements in your field or partnership in global research.
Proof of Annual current or potential earning of approximately $116,500 USD. (Gross)
Adherence to a high standard and an exceptional record of professional achievements.
This may include senior research positions, patents, professional awards, global publications and interfaces with leading international companies in their field.
Eligibility of candidates for this track is determined by proving some of the following abilities:
Potential for creating a large number of jobs in Australia.
Desire to invest a sum of money in Australia for the purpose of expanding the company’s operations.
Adding economic value to an Australian company, with which there is cooperation, and to the Australian economy.
Proof of innovation in a product, service or R&D (users, value creation, improvement of an existing situation).
Contribution of expertise, especially in the strategic areas defined above.
Contribute to increasing economic resilience and strengthening Australia’s supply chain.
Ability to create synergy with local Australian companies in the same field.
